oh... A highly-acclaimed music video for the song was directed by Jonathan Glazer.[1] The band is presented in imitation of the opening scenes from the 1971 film A Clockwork Orange, in the milk bar. Blur star as the quasi-Droogs, complete with Damon Albarn wearing eyeliner similar to the film. They perform in the bar in all-white.
The bar patrons consist of different groups; a lone female entertains male business colleagues by exploiting their sexual interest in her; two odd men entirely coloured red and blue conduct a stilted (subtitled) conversation; and two male colleagues – one of them in a priest in a vicar's dog collar – become increasingly drunk on cocktails, laughing more and more hysterically until a final shock moment which eventually leads us to seeing the priest planting a kiss on him at the last second of the video.
The golf ball-shaped speaker featured in the video was sold in a charity auction in 1999.

I just listen to this song again today.. Really love this song since the first time I heard about it like 8 years ago! And the MV is just so memeriable :D haha... The styling is just super cool~~~ (just for your information, personally I dont like songs from Pet Shop Boys that much, it is probably the only one, and I do love it ^__^)
More info about the MV (from Wikipedia) The music video for "I Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Anymore" showed Tennant and Lowe being transformed into their new appearances, though in a fantastical manner: they are operated on by medical laboratory machines, then covered in talcum powder and dressed by monks in a ritual-like manner. Finally, they are given dogs on leashes and released into a "different world", where everyone else is also dressed in exactly the same way. Conceptualized among the band members, McNeil, and director Pedro Romhanyi, the video was created to showcase the costumes. It was visually influenced by the films Ridicule, in the ritualistic dressing-up scene; 2001: A Space Odyssey, in the decor of the living room with an illuminated floor; and A Clockwork Orange, in the outdoor urban setting.
According to Tennant, the costumes helped him to distance himself from the songs, adding to the impersonal nature of Nightlife. In other interviews, he explained that they played into his belief in the need for pop stars to have "bigger than life" public images, and were a reaction against the "naturalistic" look of the 1990s.
It is a classic! and a cool artictis MV! And It's a SIN!! Pet Shop Boys - It's A Sin Director - Derek Jarman
moliu... Some people mix up moliu with boring, defined it as the feeling of nothing to do. Sometime, people see 'moliu' as a negative terms. Some people would see it as a time wasting.
However 'moliu' is totally different from, even sometimes opposite to boring.
'moliu' can be in different level. A low level 'moliu' always happen in everyone mind. it can be easily satisfy by doing something stupid, meaningless.
The high level 'moliu', due to the emptiness and the vacuity, can encourage people's creativity and think deeply about philosophic problem. and, I always feel "moliu" and doing something very moliu...
